Lactobacillus plantarum HAC01을 섭취한 시험군의 식후 2시간째 혈당과 당화혈색소(HbA1c)의 증가가 대조군에 비해 유의적으로 낮았으며, 이는 Lactobacillus plantarum HAC01이 식후혈당의 상승을 억제하고 당화혈색소를 낮춰준다는 것을 의미함
